I was working on something else this week and was inspired in a different direction tonight around 10pm. A friend of mine, Gregg Stone, passed away this weekend. This was an attempt to make something for him, but again, it's difficult to find worthy words.
There are many ideas to improve on this one and I will likely try to revisit it. Alas, this was the product as of 2am.
lyrics
One of the good ones
Always ready to take a knee
Kindest of hearts
global sympathy
Left us all too early
Just found out today
Cannot put together
Worthy words to say
Some people radiate
The brightest glow from within
Light up anyone nearby
Like reflection of the sun
A rare gift for the few
The rest of us will cherish
Grateful for the moments
We we were able to relish
And relish we will
Like dolphins in the sea
Like children on a playground
In magnificent peace
