Ronnie, the singer in this "Southern Rock Love Ballad", is all about getting back to the business of making it right with his girl so he can get back to "the business" of loving her. He wrote the song after a rough stretch in their 22 year relationship. In his last interview with RS he said, "The toughest job I ever had was winning her back and this song let her know my heart." He then went on to say, "It didn't hurt that I mentioned my dead mama in the song either. They got on real good."
Amazing - Southern Rock
look up at the stars tonight
holding you everything feels right
the moon is shining down the light
charlie daniels on the radio ‘
baby we ain’t gonna change
got no plans to rearrange
never wanna turn the page
things are good the way things are
you are so amazing now - you are so amazing now - you are so amazing now
mama said to open up your heart
you risk the world will fall apart
but the gain is like a work of art
it’s the best just me and you
son you know when you fall in love
someone’s smiling on us from up above
looking down she’s so proud of
just how far we’ve come girl
you are so amazing now - you are so amazing now - you are so amazing now
there were days when we thought that we would lose
there were nights when we both had to choose
to stick it out
to try a little harder hold on a little longer
