Here's another ghost story from me. This one's about a dead parent and a mention of birthdays. August the 2nd is my birthday, and I found out my mama died on 8/2 last year. Shit sucked, and I'm still parsing it...so here's song born of the feelings of it even though it doesn't exactly track with the experience of it I used the Mexican lady in white "la Llorona" as inspiration for this one as well. It needs a lot of work continuity-wise, but I like the vibe. I'm having problems with my Kronos so I'm probably going to be doing a lot of acoustic and Hammond work in the next few weeks. May do a few more of these Americana vibe ones, it's a nice diversion from my usual spacey shit.
