I did not have the free time that I thought I would when I signed up for this round. My brain is tired. I did the daily word salad, but I don’t think it helped this particular song. I did focus on rhyme scheme, but I can’t say if it was a good thing in this case.
Today is the day I set aside in my schedule to work on a song, and the neighborhood band decided to practice today, and the sound is extremely clear on our porch. I want to ask why they are trying to learn a Tom Petty song with a drummer playing a John Phillips Sousa beat. It was distracting and mildly maddening, especially on their 7th time through the song. Holy cow, how do they stand it?
Pretty obvious rhyme scheme. It's not a narrative, but I seemed to stay consistently in first person. I guess the photo of my scribbling shows my work. I don't know. If not, I'll hopefully do better next week.
