Still gazing at my shoes but more of a MBV direction this week. This is how this song was always meant to be played. Not sure if changing the lyrics was a requirement so I tweaked a couple lines of the bridge verse. You would think getting this sound would be easy with all the DAW toys but it was actually pretty tricky. Reverse reverb is a MBV staple. Kevin Shields used the Alesis Midiverb to do this. I couldn't find any plug-ins with a quality reverse verb sound so I had to reverse the wave files, apply the reverb and the reverse back to regular. Fun stuff!

All the lyrics are the same as the original except the bridge where I changed "When I look in their direction now" to "Can't seem to break this connection now".
