The hand injury is almost healed, I was able to use a pick on the 12 string solo. Still kept everything super simple and lo-fi like last week. I figured I'd stay in the same style, recorded on the 4-track cassette with my Hammond Sounder droning throughout. It's a fictional tune about a hitchhiker being murdered by, maybe the Manson family, in the summer of 1969.
lyrics
Cut me down
Down to size
In a hole
Is where I lie
That summer 69
That summer you'll never find
Doo doo doo doo
Canyon sun
In the hills
Hitch a ride
Oh what a thrill
That summer 69
That summer you'll never find
Desert sky
Last to see
Judgement day
The end for me
