My assignment this week was to do something based on the Tao of Pooh. I read it for the first time yesterday, found it to be absolutely delightful, and this is how it filtered through my brain. It even turned into the Tao of Popeye briefly somehow.
lyrics
Use the now well
use the now well now
For now will only be now now
soon now will just be then
You cannot save now up for later
Use the now well now
Do by not doing
See by not looking
Hear by not listening
Find by not seeking
Discover by not thinking
Everything’s in nothing
I yam what I yam and that's all that I yam.
So it is best for me to yam the best that I can
I should not force myself to turnip.
Turnip knows not how to yam.
I yam as I am, it’s alright really
Use the now well
use the now well now
For now will only be now now
soon now will just be then
You cannot save now up for later
Use the now well
